LED lighting is more popular than ever and there are so many categories that it can become confusing. We would like to try to explain in simple terms the types of LEDs there are and their uses.

From the beginning white light LED to color changing lights have come into view over the last decade starting about 2010 to today. The RGB (Red – Green – Blue) spectrum began and from there it was the programming that allowed the broad range of colors we have today. LED color changing capability meant that you could have colors that related to holidays, events, flags, sports, parties, and much more. Christmas lights are of course the largest section of the market however, now that programmable LEDs are available all the holidays are now represented.

Being able to create a full color spectrum from the RGB is what it is all about. We have all seen the house on the block that had the incredible Christmas lights display that covers the entire house and yard with bright colors everywhere. Back in the day the bulbs were simply covered with a paint that was red or blue or yellow or red or any color you wanted within the basic color spectrum. Those bulbs were incandescent and were not programmable.

Once the LED was introduced to the consumer market after more than 70 years of engineering the color changing LED became very popular very quickly. Christmas tree LED lights are now the preferred light for their Christmas tree. These lights now come in many different looks and styles but more so they come in many different programmable effects and capabilities. There is a bit of confusion on the consumers part because of what some manufactures claim and what the light really does. Color changing ability is now part of our holiday experience more than ever.

Holiday LED Magic lighting has become one of the leaders in the LED color changing market with the patented controller and the copyrighted code that makes it a stand out product compared to all the others in the market. Color changing was just the beginning and with our controller you can manipulate the colors into many different shapes and styles with as many effects as you can imagine. Many other manufactures depend on the effect that you can use based on their preprogrammed modes. There is nothing wrong with the preprogrammed modes as we can use those as well.

The difference between Holiday LED Magic and everyone else is that you become the programmer creating whatever you want. That is not only color changing capability but it becomes taking those colors and creating designs using the colors to manipulate them individually and within the color separation mode. This is what our patent is based on and what we copyrighted. Another difference is that we can offer simple packages sold in retail stores such as Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, and more. We also offer a custom package to the consumer and commercial market by purchasing from us directly. That means you can have anything you want or need for your project. This makes our product line very dynamic in being able to provide our customers what they need for a lower cost and a simple way to expand their existing lighting system.

Christmas tree LED color changing lights are the largest market however, the outdoor market is growing fast as professional installers are more prevalent and of course the DIY market has always been large since the Home Depots of the world have shown us. Landscaping lighting is always a popular DIY or Professional installation. Because of our controller it can be used with any WS2811 or WS2812B or WS2813 series diode and it can be used with so many types of lighting that have not been invented or introduced yet.

The future of LED lighting is within this series of LEDs and it will become more popular as time goes on. For Christmas tree lights in the color changing LED spectrum, they come in many different types. There are now mini lights that are very small and cannot be programmed the same way other LEDs are. The reason is that there is not enough room or space for a chip to be added to the diode. So, for this reason new types of LEDs have been developed for these smaller lights. They have a very nice look and sometimes you don’t need all of the programming to make an LED light look good.

These LEDs may have a snowflake look or they are shaped like a bell or Santa Clause or some types of shape that the holiday or event requires by being relatable to that holiday or event. These new LEDs like the WS2811 use a bullet shape for now because they are new to the market. The bullet has the room or space to apply a chip on the back of the diode and that is what makes an individual addressable diode. Another distinction is that these are 3 wire systems using a positive and negative standard wiring with another wire that is used to transmit the programming signal to the diode. From there it is all about the programming code and sequencing dealing with time delays with overlays and more technology aspects.

These new LEDs will take over at some point in the future. It is the only way it can go when you consider that the first WS2811 was introduced around 2010 and the programmable aspect of individual addressable diodes became introduced to the market around 2017 so it is predictable. Obviously at the same time China began manufacturing the WS2811 in string lights, icicle lights, strip lights, net lights, and C-9 lights. The rope light is part of our patent but also because it is a very different type of light. Instead of using a smaller LED it uses the WS2811 and moves the diode into a forward angle to produce the light into a color chamber giving it a 360-degree view of the light. This is very different from what is being offered today.

The rope light is what started it all for us and because of China beginning to manufacture the other styles of lighting it was a natural fit for our controller. Other differences are that our programming allows for longer lengths of light using another 10-amp power supply every 500 lights while using one RF Remote and one controller. This makes adding on lights less expensive and much simpler for anyone to use and expand their lighting system. You do not have to use a higher voltage system that the 12-volt system and you do have to use a higher amperage power supply which is much more expensive. So, keeping cost down and functionality is what we are after.

To get even more detailed about the functionality of the Holiday LED Magic lighting system we can talk about the ability of taking each color individually and expand or contract that light color. If you choose Red – White – Blue as your color group all the colors appear at the same time in succession through the entire light. With the color separation mode, you can expand all 3 colors at the same time to as many as you wish. Such as from 1 to 10 red lights and 10 white lights and 10 blue lights or you can have 10 red and 5 white and 1 blue. This is truly unique when it comes to a longer length of light or the light wrapped around a Christmas tree or tree in the yard or pole or fence or wall.

This ability allows for millions of color combinations without any effects added to it. Effects are very cool where lights expands and contracts through preprogramming however, not everyone likes light jumping around all the time. Our system allows for both and you are able to create whatever you can imagine. We will engineer more features in the future and you can bet we will be in the forefront of the LED market for many years to come.

Party lights are becoming very popular and Holiday LED Magic lighting is unique to any of these lighting systems. You can create a color scheme with no effects and it will be unique to any other lighting you will ever see because of our proprietary position. We are very aware of the market and we will be developing more to offer such as a phone app with the same ability as the handheld remote control and we will be able to offer more effects than anyone. However, as far as the functionality of our system that is ours to keep.

Holiday Event lights or birthday lights for any celebration event we have the upper hand because you can create anything because of our color changing live programming ability. For any holiday such as thanksgiving you can use colors such purple, amber, orange and then create your color style from there and if you wish to add an effect, we have the most popular effects. Halloween would be orange, indigo, amber. Father’s Day is blue and maybe white. Mother’s Day is red or possibly magenta and maybe white and you can expand the colors to create styles from there and maybe add an effect.

A baby boy celebration could be turquoise and maybe white or blue or a baby girl would be magenta or pink with white or turquoise. Added to this we have 3 color hues which are standard, pastel, and tropical. The use of this is that you can take any color group you choose and it will change the color hue to a pastel which is a softer color tone and really changes the mood of the lighting to something much more serene. For having a party, the tropical setting is really fun. The colors become more vibrant and say let’s have a party. Adding a streaming effect can really add a more festive environment with a faster or slower streaming effect.

Holiday LED Magic lighting not only offers the ability to live program diodes in the color changing LED market it has the ability to use them for the interior of the home for Christmas tree lights but can be used for mood lighting with the strip lighting and can be used with kitchen lighting, room lighting, staircase, and anywhere else you can imagine.
